PRACTICE IN THE SIMULATOR

How to perform this examination

  1. Run the Echocardiography Online Simulator

Singe Plane Method:

  1. Choose 4 chamber position from the List <<Positions>> or find 4 chamber position with 3D Transducer
  2. Click the button <<Freeze>> to freeze image. Using Slider find LV End-Systolic frame.
  3. Click Button <<Calculations>> Click Tab <<LV>> Click Radio Button <<Volume S SP (ml)>>.
  4. Measure LV Volume
  5. Click the button <<Enter>>
  6. Using Slider find LV End-Diastolic frame.
  7. In the Tab LV Click Radio Button <<Volume D SP (ml)>>
  8. Click the button <<Enter>>.

  9. Choose 2 chamber position from the List <<Positions>> or find 2 chamber position with 3D Transducer
  10. Click the button <<Freeze>>. to freeze image. Using Slider find LV End-Systolic frame.
  11. Click Button <<Calculations>> Click Tab <<LV>> Click Radio Button <<Volume S 2C (ml)>>
  12. Measure LV Volume
  13. Click the button <<Enter>>
  14. Using Slider find LV End-Diastolic frame
  15. In the Tab LV Click Radio Button <<Volume D 2C (ml)>>
  16. Click the button <<Enter>>
